Overview of the Financial Resources

Our budget is financed by funds from:

o    Cash income

o    Self-production income

o    Stock market management

o    Trust funds management.

Our financial resources are sufficient to achieve our objectives now and in the foreseeable future. We protect and enhance the available financial resources to support our activities. We demonstrate our financial capacity to support local communities we seek to serve by verifiable internal and external factors. Our financial resources are managed with integrity. Tax policies are clearly stated in writing and systematically implemented in the ethical standards of sound financial practices.

We are financially stable. Our stability and sustainability are not dependent of vulnerable resources or narrow base of support. Our financial planning, including the contingency planning, is integrated into the overall “Planning and Evaluation Process”. It demonstrates our ability to analyze our financial situation and understand the opportunities and constraints that may affect its financial situation and acts accordingly.

We have put in place internal and external mechanisms to assess, manage and maintain the financial integrity. The results are used for our improvement. Our multi-year financial planning is realistic and reflects our ability to rely on identified revenue sources and promote services to local communities. The integrity of our finances is ensured through:

o    Prudent and organized financial management

o    Well organized budget process

o    Appropriate internal control mechanisms

o    Risk assessment.

We manage and allocate the financial resources in a manner that reflects our mission and goals. Timely financial information provides a solid financial basis for decision making. We demonstrate our ability to meet the emergency situations and unforeseen circumstances. The Executive Board approves the financial plans. Our General Assembly and the Executive Board:

o    Examine regularly and systematically the effectiveness of our aid policy and practices in promoting our mission

o    Ensure that we actually support local communities we seek to serve.

We design and implement our budget after the consultation with stakeholders in accordance with our overall plan which provides the integration of community services and natural resources to advance our goals and objectives. We reallocate resources to achieve our goals and objectives by implementing a realistic plan to address the issues raised by the existence of operating deficit.

Our fundraising efforts are directed towards achieving the objective purpose and organized in accordance with clear and comprehensive policies that specify the conditions and the manner in which donations are solicited and accepted. We present our capabilities and needs to potential donors and accurately describe the impact their donations can reasonably bear. Donations are taken quickly to donor intent.
